skimpy - W Boudville - Terra, Sol 3
The book has very little content. It does a brief job of mentioning various electronic technologies that impact the mass consumer market. Telephones, TVs, cell phones, GPS, personal computers and even DVDs. The latter were only just being introduced when the book was written.
Perhaps the book is meant for a reader with a short attention span, like in primary school. But even so, there'd be students willing to peruse a much longer account.
